This is awesome. Love the real definition of Alaskan Spring. Who knew. Growing up in SoCal I romanticized snowy states. Then we moved back east. Boston was beautiful until it wasn’t. The flooding is memorable. When my daughter was in HS there was one spring when the Back Bay was almost under water. She sloshed through the dirty water to school. (I would have driven her but had no idea how bad it was.) Alaska summers must be fab.
I bet the cruises are beautiful! You can see so much by sea. Did you get to see a lot of whales and marine wildlife? I'd love a to take a cruise someday...but maybe to somewhere warm. :)
Cruise was a great intro to Alaska. Whales and sea lions. Our family favorite was the helicopter ride— the view!!- to the glacier. Walked around on a glacier!
What a winter! The snow really is taking it's sweet time to melt. I'm trying so hard to stay positive but I am definitely a little dejected. I cannot wait for summer days ahead.
😂OMG! I mean, the snow looks very beautiful to this Californian, but I can understand why you're totally #overit by now. The Alaskan Spring reviews made me LOL. Hope you get to enjoy a snow-free and stink-free existence soon.

Interesting to hear about the flooding in Boston. I never knew about that. I can only imagine how dirty that water was!
And yes, Alaskan summers are epic. They are short, but so very sweet. Endless daylight, mild weather and full of natural beauty.
We’ve done the cruise. It’s on our bucket list to do Alaska by land.

The truth revealed! Our drive way is free of snow now but nothing else! Our propane tank is still mostly covered up in snow. ☹️

Summer cannot come soon enough! I'm ready for green grass and warm days.
Whaaaat? Why do sea lions pull people in the water? Are they playing? Threatened?
Honestly, I think they’re curious. They want to see if you’re food!
I’m sorry if I just unlocked a new fear for you! Haha! They make me nervous now.
No worries. Haha.
